We would like to thank all of you for coming to the picnic last Sunday and making it an enjoyable event for all of us. Special thanks to everyone who helped and volunteered to make sure that our picnic party was a success.

2008 Summer Picnic Event on Aug 24th

The Event is as about to happen this weekend on Sunday August 24, 2008 at 9:30 AM
Governor Alfred E. Smith/Sunken Meadow State Park.

People with kids can bring bikes and outing chairs if they have, people who are interested in going into water should get their towels and sheets required for the beach. People interested in volunteering should contact Ajay/Sheikh after 6:00pm Thursday August21st. after work.

Picnic Contribution-
$20 for Single Adults
$40 for Two Adults
$45 for Family with Two adults and children below 10 yrs
Additional Guest Adult $20

Interested parties should make the payment before the event by Aug 22, 2008 EOD.
This way it will help to order the correct amount of food (Indian Chinese cuisine will be catered) for all. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding food menu.

DIWAN is providing the food for us:
Starters:
. Alu tikki chole
. Veg. spring rolls
. Hakka chilli chicken (dry)
. Tandoor chicken

Main Dishes:
. Veg. Manchurian(gravy)
. Veg. LoMein
. Navrattan Korma
. Chicken Makhani
. Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce

. Naan/Onion Kulcha
. Pea Polau
. Salad/Raita

Dessert:
. Gulab Jam


We will have games for children/ladies/gents so do not forget to bring a scarf/dupatta.

Bring cameras/camcorders/sports equipment/ and your fun side to make this event a success. Your help and suggesting welcome.............Please come forward help in making event successful and inform your friends to join too.

We are planning a summer picnic event on Aug 24th Sunday 2008. We would like all the interested members to help selecting food and location by vote (use comments link on the bottom). Depending on the count, we will decide for go or no go....

1) Food will be catered from outside like last time
(CHOICE INDIAN OR INDIAN CHINESE OR SOUTH INDIAN)
